I was born in Kokomo, Indiana and grew up north of Peru. I eventually moved back to the Kokomo area where I graduated from Western High School in 1990. I have worked in the sawmill and timber industry since graduating from IUK in 1998. In March of 2018 I started my own business, TM Forestry, which I operate from my residence outside of Amboy, Indiana.
Through my years in the industry I have served in almost every facet of operations, all the way from entry positions to president of a sawmill. I have always been drawn to the woods from the time I was young and my grandpa converted acreage to wooded ground. I consider myself to be fortunate to have interacted with the people and properties I have encountered through the years and am still in contact with as many of them as I can be.
When not in the woods, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and being involved in the community. I am a member of the McGrawsville Community Church and have been active in YMCA youth sports, earning Volunteer of the Year in April of 2011. I am awaiting word on publishing my first book and am very excited about that as well.
Our team also includes one or more additional independent experienced cutters, skidder-loader, and truckers.
